About me
Andreia has been the Head of INESC TEC's International Relations Service since its inception in 2020. She is also the Executive Director of the UT Austin Portugal Program, a long-standing Science and Technology Partnership between the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology and The University of Texas at Austin, USA.
Andreia holds a Master's degree in Sociology (2008) and an Undergraduate degree (2005) in European Studies, both earned from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto.
For over ten years, Andreia was a researcher and consultant for INESC TEC's Centre for Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CITE). She assisted several Portuguese companies with implementing and auditing Research, Development and Innovation Management Systems. In 2015, she led the participation of INESC TEC in the Enterprise Europe Network project, where she acted as a Key Account Manager for Portuguese SMEs benefitting from coaching services under the H2020 SME Instrument funding scheme and as an Innovation Expert. She co-authored studies and papers addressing innovation and innovation management-related topics and participated in feasibility studies to assess the market potential of new concepts and business models.
