About me
Shava Smallen leads the Cloud Software Development group at the San Diego Supercomputer Center at the University of California, San Diego. She is a co-PI of the CloudBank project (https://cloudbank.org/), which is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to facilitate researcher access to public cloud resources. Smallen is also a co-PI on the Cybershuttle project (https://cybershuttle.org/) which helps researchers move their computations and data to cyberinfrastructure resources; participates in the ACCESS Monitoring and Measurement Service project (https://metrics.access-ci.org/), which provides performance and usage statistics for NSF-funded cyberinfrastructure resources; and co-leads the international Pacific Rim Application and Grid Middleware Assembly (PRAGMA) project (http://www.pragma-grid.net/).
